OK, how CUTE are these two? I took Erin and Brian out to one of my favorite spots, Manchester State Park in Port Orchard, for a gorgeous golden hour engagement session last month. They’re such a sweet couple and I was so happy to finally meet them!
Adorable fiances Erin and Brian connected with me way back in February at the Kitsap Wedding Expo – or, at least, Erin’s mom did. Erin and Brian live in Maine but are getting married next year back home in Kitsap County. Erin had found the Lemonade Photography Facebook page, liked my work and told her mom that whatever she did, she HAD to stop by my booth.
Now, the Lemonade Photography booth was waaaay at the back of the expo, a little hard to find unless you made your way past several other booths and a curtain that blocked me from view. So mom & dad wandered around a few times, talked to some other vendors, didn’t see me and decided to head out. From their car, they called Erin and explained they’d had no luck.
Turn right back around and go back in, she told them. I KNOW she’s there.
I was, and they found me, and the rest is history.
Our original plan was to meet when they came for a visit in May and shoot their engagement session then. COVID happened, though, so we had to wait until August to shoot. And I’m sooooo glad we did. Just look at this amazing golden hour light and late-summer colors. We wouldn’t have had that in May.
And their session was so. much. fun. Erin and Brian are hilarious, and I had such a blast shooting their golden hour engagement session at one of my favorite places to shoot. I can’t wait for their wedding next July!
