After more than 17 years in the wedding industry, there aren’t many Kitsap County wedding venues I haven’t seen. Whether you’re planning an intimate DIY celebration or a luxury wedding, the venue is usually the very first decision – and one of the most important. It sets the scene for your wedding day and guides every other choice you make.
Read on for a photographer’s perspective on the best Kitsap County wedding venues in every budget. A few things to keep in mind: This isn’t an exhaustive list of every Kitsap County wedding venue; it’s a sampling of a few venues I like in each price range that I’m familiar with. Prices on this list are the base cost for summer weekend weddings, as reported by the venue. Unless otherwise noted, these are full day rentals. There may be additional costs not indicated in the base price – these could include fees, additional rentals, gratuities, sales tax, food & beverage minimums and more.
Affordable Kitsap County Venues (Under $3k)
Midrange Kitsap County Venues ($5k–$8k)
Premium Kitsap County Venues ($8k+)
Manchester State Park – Port Orchard
Summer weekend base cost: $450
Photographer’s take: I’m a sucker for combining an elegant event with rustic surroundings, and Manchester State Park delivers. The graceful 125-year-old brick Torpedo Warehouse once served as a storage building for underwater mines; now it’s an open-air rental space that you can transform into the wedding venue of your dreams. It’s a unique Kitsap County wedding venue perfect for couples who love historic spaces and don’t mind a little DIY.
Pro tip: When I say rustic, I mean it. There’s no electricity, no kitchen, no dedicated getting-ready space, and no onsite staff. And the big one: no amplified music is allowed, so DJs are out. Live acoustic musicians are fine, but skip this venue if you’re planning a big dance party.
Capacity: Up to 150
Amenities: Picnic tables & benches, fireplace, indoor & outdoor space, restrooms with showers.

Emel House at Scenic Beach State Park – Seabeck
Summer weekend base cost:$1,014
Photographer’s take: Private estate wedding venues are popular for a reason, and Emel House at Scenic Beach State Park offers similar vibes for a fraction of the cost. The centerpiece of this hidden Kitsap County gem is the historic Craftsman home, a great space for getting ready and preparing food. The Olympic Mountains provide a spectacular backdrop for ceremonies, and there is plenty of garden, forest and beach space for photos. The full kitchen and private bathroom are bonuses for a state park venue.
Pro tip: While it’s not quite as rustic as Manchester, this is still a DIY-heavy venue. Amplified music is allowed only for the ceremony here.
Capacity: 75
Amenities: Kitchen, tables and chairs, two dressing rooms, private bathroom, indoor & outdoor space, gazebo

Kitsap Memorial State Park – Poulsbo
Summer weekend base cost: $1,700
Photographer’s take: Kitsap Memorial State Park is at the top of my list of places I *wish* I had known about when I was planning my own wedding. It’s a magical forest venue surrounded by towering trees, with an incredible view of the Olympic Mountains. All that and a huge heated reception hall, a getting ready cabin, a beach and catering prep space? Whatever your budget, this is one of the best outdoor wedding venues in Kitsap County.
Pro tip: Popular dates at this venue book up fast. Booking is a little complicated, too: reservations don’t open until nine months ahead of your date, on the first day of the month. So if you want an August 15, 2027 wedding, you can’t book until Nov. 1, 2026. If you want a summer weekend date, I recommend familiarizing yourself with the State Parks booking system, planning to get up early on booking day and having a few backup dates in mind. The same system applies to all State Parks venues, including Manchester and Emel House.
Capacity: Up to 175
Amenities: Heated log hall, outdoor catering kitchen (bbq/wood-fired cooking only), covered pavilion, getting ready cabin, restrooms with showers

St. Paul’s Church – Port Gamble
Summer weekend base cost: $1,050 ceremony only, $2,100 ceremony & reception
Photographer’s take: This classic little white church is just as adorable on the inside as it is on the outside. It’s a historic Kitsap County wedding venue that’s both an active church and a secular rental space, so there are no religious requirements to use it. There’s a surprising amount of space inside St. Paul’s Church, and a generous list of amenities for a very reasonable cost. It’s part of the larger Port Gamble Weddings complex, which means you have options ranging from just a 3-hour church rental to a full-day rental of the church, the terrace outside and/or the reception hall down the street (see the next listing).
Pro tip: DO NOT skip your chance to ring the church steeple bell after your ceremony. It’s part of every package, and creates a joyful moment you can share with your guests.
Capacity:
150 ceremony / 80 reception
Amenities: Historic church setting, getting ready space, sound equipment, outdoor terrace, tables & chairs included, kitchen, flower stands & easels, unlimited parking, rehearsal, onsite staff, table setup & breakdown

Hood Canal Vista Pavilion – Port Gamble
Summer weekend base cost: $5,100–$6,300
Photographer’s take: The second half of the Port Gamble Weddings complex, Hood Canal Vista Pavilion can be rented alone or with the church in the previous listing. There’s ample ceremony space on the lawn with a gorgeous Hood Canal view, and indoor room for dining, dancing and celebrating with your guests. Plus, this Kitsap County wedding venue is right in the middle of Port Gamble, a picturesque historic town that’s a fantastic backdrop for wedding portraits. It’s especially spectacular in autumn, when the town becomes one of the best places in Kitsap County for fall foliage.
Pro tip: For photos, don’t skip the public dahlia garden across the street. It explodes with vivid colors in late summer and fall.
Capacity: 120–200
Amenities: Indoor pavilion, tented terrace, lawn, tables and chairs, fireplace, wi-fi, sound equipment, projector, catering kitchen, rehearsal, onsite staff.

Heronswood Garden – Kingston
Summer weekend base cost: $6,000
Photographer’s take: The flowers. The trees. The water feature wall. The incredible symmetry of the European formal garden! I am in LOVE. There’s so much color and variety here – I could explore for days and still find new places to photograph. With a house for getting ready, ample catering space and a huge reception tent, it’s a hidden gem in Kingston. It The garden works to protect natural habitats and showcase the culture of the Port Gamble S’Klallam Tribe, making it one of the most unique and meaningful garden wedding venues in Kitsap County.
Pro tip: Schedule an extra long couples’ portrait session on your wedding day. There is SO much here and you don’t want to miss any of it.
Capacity: 150
Amenities: Large botanical garden, multiple ceremony spaces, tented reception space, two getting ready spaces, tables & chairs, dance floor, parking attendant, onsite staff, setup & cleanup

Red Cedar Farm – Poulsbo
Summer weekend base cost: $6,350
Photographer’s take: Everywhere you look, there is *something* to see or do at Red Cedar. This beautiful venue balances rustic charm with sophisticated landscaping and well-thought-out spaces. A classic barn, pinball arcade and even a petting zoo give the venue tons of character, while paved pathways and elegant details keep it feeling polished. The outdoor spaces are perfect for warm summer weddings, but the large indoor reception hall, game rooms and fire pit make this venue a great space for weddings year-round.
Pro tip: Tell your guests to plan extra time for parking. Guest parking is located offsite, but a shuttle runs guests to and from the venue.
Capacity: 150
Amenities: Pinball arcade, petting zoo, shuffleboard, horseshoes, fire pit, sound system, shuttle parking, tables & chairs, bar, catering kitchen, heated barn

Cedar Springs – Port Orchard
Summer weekend base cost: $8,500
Photographer’s take: This property feels secluded, even though it’s right in the middle of a residential neighborhood and blocks away from the highway. They have really created something special here, with a meandering sculpted pond crossed by cedar bridges and surrounded by lush forest. There’s an island for ceremonies, an elegant dining tent lit with chandeliers and a cedar-shake gazebo to dance the night away. A bright new bridal getting-ready suite tops off a fantastic venue with a long list of services.
Pro tip: Catering and bar service must be chosen from their approved vendor list.
Capacity: Up to 300
Amenities: Dinner tent with chandeliers, ceremony island, gazebo, fountain, dressing cabins, catering kitchen, fire pit, row boat for photos

Kiana Lodge – Poulsbo

$100 minimum per person food & beverage (minimum 125 guests on summer weekends)
Photographer’s take: From the colorful gardens and sweeping water view to the stunning cedar-beam reception hall topped with a signature chandelier, Kiana Lodge stands out as one of Kitsap County’s premier waterfront wedding venues. Operated by the Suquamish Tribe, Kiana Lodge is a lush, secluded space on Agate Passage just a short drive from the Clearwater Casino. Venue rental and food minimums put Kiana Lodge in the higher price bracket, but the service, scenery and food make it worth the investment.
Pro tip: Make sure the Signature Salmon is on your dinner menu. Just trust me.
Capacity: 350
Amenities: Exclusive use of waterfront property, indoor or outdoor ceremony options, indoor reception space, two dressing rooms, catering and bar service, deep-water dock, servers, bartender, tables, linens, tableware, planning support, day-of event manager, rehearsal, wi-fi, parking

Anker (Formerly Kingston House) – Kingston
Summer weekend base cost: $13,000
Photographer’s take: This is one of my favorite places in Kitsap – or anywhere, really. If it’s within your budget, Anker should be high on your list of luxury Kitsap County wedding venues. 27 acres of lawns, lavender gardens, forest trails, ponds, and meadows make this the perfect space for editorial-style wedding photos. The centerpiece of Anker is a spectacular mid-century modern home designed by architect Anker I. Molver, which is included in the full venue rental. Couples get two nights in the house for up to 14 guests, making it perfect for a wedding weekend celebration.
