I didn’t intend to create a brand-new website this week, but … hey, it kind of just happened.

About 10 days ago I was happily updating my old website with new package information (you can read all about that here) when suddenly everything went haywire. I couldn’t access the back end, nobody could see the front end, it was dead in the water. My internet hosting company couldn’t figure out the problem right away so they basically shrugged and said “good luck!” I decided to set up a temporary website using a different kind of platform with preset templates and built-in designs. It was only supposed to be temporary – I was very proud of the website I’d built from scratch over 10 years and didn’t want to give that up.

And then – WHOA. How come nobody told me how awesome these new website templates are?

So here we are. I created this website using Showit, a service designed with photographers in mind. I’ve added some new things and even had a photo session with my friend Holly Cordial for a new photo for my About Me page. But for the most part, I’ve tried to maintain the same structure and pages to make it easy for my longtime clients to find what they need. The blog is a more integral feature in this page, so I’ll be making my best effort to blog more frequently, especially highlighting featured weddings and sessions.
