Sports cars and senior portraits

I did some senior portraits for a young man in Gig Harbor yesterday, and we even managed to sneak in 30 minutes of photos outside between rain showers. Luc brought along his dad’s sports car for the shoot – and while we didn’t dare open the convertible top under threatening skies, I made the most of that shiny red paint job.

We also took advantage of the water view from a little park overlooking Gig Harbor.

Portrait of a true cowboy

One of my favorite photos from my day job is getting some national exposure: Mike Allen is a history professor, cowboy and author whose 2004 book shot to the top of the New York Times bestseller list a few weeks ago after getting a positive review on a national radio program. The photo recently popped up on his Amazon.com author information page. A simple portrait of a complex cowboy.
